I'm a Published Poet! (COVER REVEAL for "The Life of a Writer Anthology")

blog post cover, vintage pastel, flowers and books, pink and blue

Yes, you read that title right! I'm so grateful and excited to be a part of this amazing collection of poetry compiled by my friends and fellow authors, Erin Hylands and Eowyn Bolivett.

I've had poems published in the past, but this feels more... official, for lack of a better word. I've been writing poetry longer than I've been writing novels, and having five of my poems featured in this anthology is such a dream come true for me. I can't wait for you all to read and learn more about the book! 😌

ABOUT THE BOOK

In the second volume of Poems, Prose and Verse, you’ll find a delightful assortment of poems written by writers of all ages. Plus, an awesome bonus of interviews with more than twenty authors.

ABOUT THE EDITORS

Erin Hylands author photo

When she’s not reading, Erin Hylands spends her time crocheting, writing, and with her family. Naturally, she spends quite a lot of time writing fantasy and contemporary fiction. She has grown to also love reading and writing historical fiction as well. She is the author of With Eyes of Blue, Mary, Queen of Scots: A Shakespearean-Style Play, and Fairy Tales Made Modern Volume 1. You can find Erin on the blog she shares with fellow young author Cari Legere. https://twofriendsonepen.wixsite.com/twofriendsonepen

Eowyn Bolivette author photo

Eowyn Bolivette is a young author, graphic designer, and publisher! Her first published anthology is Poems, Prose and Verse: a poetry and pictures anthology, the first book in this series! She enjoys walks, talking with friends, and highlighting her Bible (it’s the best!). You can find her online by subscribing to her email list at thetwirlypen.ck.page

And now... the moment you've all been waiting for...

THE COVER

grayish green minimalist poetry anthology cover

let it be

that the letters beneath

my fingertips

arrange themselves according

to the story you breathe

let it be

that endless of imaginings and

my dreams

choreographs a dance

to your symphony

let it be

that my strivings cease entirely

my King

sing the words

and I will pen the melody

let it be

beautiful and sweet to thee

my heart

shapes sentences

to ignite or set a child free
